Earthwool Attic Insulation

Why Insulate Your Attic?

Did you know that up to 25% of your home’s heat is lost through the roof? Attic insulation acts like a thermal barrier — keeping the warmth in during winter and shielding your home from the sun’s heat in summer. That means lower energy bills, more consistent indoor temperatures, and a cosier home all year round.

A Fast, Affordable Upgrade

Installing attic insulation is one of the quickest and most cost-effective ways to boost your home’s comfort and efficiency. It typically takes just a few hours, requires minimal disruption, and delivers immediate results — most homeowners notice the difference the very same night.

Attic Insulation

What to Expect on Installation Day

All we ask is that the attic floor is cleared of stored items beforehand. We’ll take care of everything else:

  • Installation takes around three hours.
  • We insulate the attic floor, pipes, water tanks, and draught-proof the attic hatch.
  • If your water tanks are more than 1 metre from the hatch, we install walk boards for safe access.
  • We can also fit raised flooring, Staira stairs, and lighting for improved accessibility and storage.

Our insulation products are non-toxic and low-dust, so you don’t need to vacate the home. We use protective sheeting, keep noise to a minimum, and clean up thoroughly once the job is complete.

Long-Lasting Performance

With no maintenance required, your attic insulation will provide high performance for up to 15 years before topping up is needed. It’s a simple investment that pays for itself in comfort, energy savings, and peace of mind.

Do You Need an Upgrade?

Not sure if your insulation meets current standards? According to SEAI regulations, attic insulation should reach a depth of 300mm (12 inches). Older homes often have much thinner insulation that no longer performs efficiently. We can assess your current setup and top it up to ensure compliance and maximum comfort.

Add-Ons That Protect Your Home

Pipe Lagging

Uninsulated copper pipes in attics are at risk of freezing and bursting during cold weather. We offer pipe lagging to protect your home and prevent costly damage.

Water Tank Lids

Exposed attic tanks can be vulnerable to contamination. We supply and install rigid, SEAI-compliant lids to keep your water safe from pests and debris.
